On July 27, 2025, the IWA-RFC convened a public hearing in Detroit to present the initial findings of the investigation into the death of Stellantis worker Ronald Adams Sr. at the Dundee Engine Complex in Michigan. Adams was crushed to death while performing maintenance work on an industrial washer when an overhead hoist, known as a gantry, suddenly engaged, pinning him to a conveyor and crushing his torso.
The pamphlet includes the major reports to the hearing, the resolution passed by the attendees, and a passionate appeal from Adams’ widow, Shamenia Stewart-Adams, for workers to come forward with additional testimony to uncover the truth and hold accountable those responsible for this social crime.
