WSWS Perspectives is a compendium of articles that provides a perspective for those troubled by the monstrous level of social inequality that has produced an ever widening chasm between the wealthy few and the masses of the world's people.
The May issue of WSWS Perspectives draws out the historical significance of the assassination of Osama bin Laden in Pakistan by US special forces. It stresses that the celebration of his killing by the US political establishment is another expression of the deep decay of American bourgeois democracy.
Other perspectives examine the continued financial instability in Europe one year after the bailout of Greece, the ongoing war against Libya, the Mississippi floods and the arrest of International Monetary Fund President Dominique Strauss Kahn on sex charges.
Of special importance is the statement by SEP National Secretary Joe Kishore "The social counterrevolution in America and the tasks of the working class."
